Latest drivers for Video Card and computer
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Retail Version of game, patched to 1.1
I know that my computer is slightly dated, but I've had no issues with the game until this point. Right now, during the load-up to Point Prometheus, everything seems fine and then all of a sudden, I receive the Windows notice that Bioshock must close and to send the error report.
I've tried lowering all the video settings. No luck.
I've tried entering the bathysphere and heading to another location first, prior to heading to PP, but still crashes.
Exception Code: 0xc0000005
I see that I'm not the only one crashing at this point in the game, but I don't see a solution on this forum.
Any suggestions? Does anyone have a saved game they could send me right after entering Point Prometheus? I've been saving, not killing, all the little sisters.
