Next week sees the beginning of the first Game of the Week Competition. It runs for the whole month of August, over the difficulties Chieftain, King and Deity. First Prize will be a Civ Rev Litho Signed by Sid Meier himself. A collection item for fans of any and all of the Civ games. How do you win?

PS3 Users can win the Litho's, Posters and tshirts, the only thing they can't win is 360 Face Plates which they have no use for anyway.

I think i can talk for everybody here, we would like to say thank you to you and any other peolpe that help you with the www.civgameoftheweek.com site. It is a delight to have the map and scoreboards updated for us players and now prizes.

OK I run a fan site that mainly services Xbox 360 users that play game of the week. Ive yet to encounter any problems with GOTW. We try to keep the PS3 boards but a few PS3 users sent them to me one week then stopped.

I am not affiliated with Firaxis or 2k in anyway, I'm only a mod on this forums because I'm an active fan.

I haven't messed anything up, please don't be insulting. If your multiplayer is broken play some GOTW and try win some prizes.

I highly recommend trying to win yourselves one of the lithos, they are extremely high quality and look fantastic when framed up. To top it off, it's signed by Sid Meier, who's a legend in gaming.

Another great thing is it has no logos on it, so it also resembles actual art when framed. It's 18" x 24", and definitely can aid you in decorating a room in your house / apartment.

I didn't know this, and I apologize for what I said. I am merely frustrated with the utter lack of playability of this game on my PS3.

how does the scoring work exactly, is each difficulty in its own contest, or are the scores added up for all of them?

I.E. grumbles is ranked 3rd in chieftan, king and deity, so would he receive 18 points? or just 6 points in each difficulty.

Seperate leaderbaoards for the 3 difficulties, but you can only win one prize. eg if one player was top of diety and king he would get a prize for diety but second place on king would get first place for that difficulty
