help civ stuck in my ps3

Hello fellow Civ players. My PS3 system has finally I guess died today. I inserted my copy of Civilization Revolution, didn't exactly get around to playing it that quickly today, was caught doing a chore for the wife, and when I got back the system had restarted(The red button thingy). So, as always, I proceeded to hit that which would allow the system to turn on again. It stays at green, then switches to yellow, and then red, and then beaps red. I have to do this to even get it on for five seconds. My Civ copy is still stuck in the PS3 and I can't even get the system to stay on for more than 10 seconds to rid the system of the disk. I've contacted Sony, and Sony being the worst when it comes to Customer Support, still hasn't really done anything about my pleas of help. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll get around to making it right for whoever helps me fix this problem. Thanks in advance guys. Much love.

You need to go to Sony's site and call the 800 number.

I have had one of my PS3's "fixed" by Sony (about 2 months ago) total of 13 day turn around and I got back what appeared to be a brand new PS3 (spotless with static plastic on it).

Call the 800 number in the support area and tell them you have tried everything, they will send out a box (2 day air) pre-paid, you send it to them, they send you back a repaired or new PS3 and your Disc. You HAVE to tell them the disc is in there and what disc it is or you will not get it back. Make copies of all paperwork (shipping numbers, desc. of issue, etc).

You will be up and running fast.
