I wish I had the 3870x2 driver! ;) What is your current graphics card? To find out hold down the Windows key and press R then in the run dialog box that pops up type 'dxdiag' without the quotes and press enter then under the display tab there will be a Device section and the Name of your graphics card will be listed. In Windows Vista, for XP it might be called chip type or something similar under the display tab.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce6150SE nForce 430 if that is what you want....

Could anyone give me a download to update this thing to make it the best one out?

The issue is (it's on the box) that the minimum nVidia card for Bioshock is a 6600 so right off the bat that is a source of graphical errors and very poor performance. Is it possible for you to upgrade your graphics card (i.e. does the motherboard in your computer have a PCIe slot or AGP slot?), if it's a desktop computer (which I think it is from that model) then there is a chance you could get a decent graphics card in it. The other requirement on the box is a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz or AMD equivalent - before you think about upgrading the graphics it would be wise to see if you meet that requirement as well. Also there is a project called: Shadershock (http://www.shadershock.tk/) which lets you run Bioshock on older cards *BUT* the last I heard on it was that it only works for older Ati cards. Do go to that link however and ask around on the forums there maybe they've fixed it for nVidia cards. Shadershock also has very long load times between levels.

Alright, thanks for the tips, but how do i get a new graphics card? Do i need to buy it or can i just get a link to one and download it for free?

One more thing: does upgrading to Windows Vista Ultimate make games faster?

In your case, the best thing to do is to get some advice from a friend who is knowledgable about computers. To see if you can get a new graphics card the computer will need to be opened and checked to see if it can accept one. A graphics card is "hardware" which means its a piece of machinery so it is a physical thing. The driver for the graphics card is "software" which means it's a program that you can download and install on the computer. If you don't have access to a friend to help you assess your computer you can always take it to your local computer shop and have them tell you exactly what your options are but that would cost a (relatively) small amount of money.

Vista is generally slower than XP but it also does a lot more, so unless you have a high power computer you would probably be better off staying with XP and just getting Vista sometime in the future as part of a new computer.

Yah, you definetly need to buy a new graphics card. It's a piece of hardware inside your PC. And as far as going for Vista Ultimate, it won't make anything faster, if any thing it'll make your PC slower.

why would it make it slower? that seems like a pretty bad upgrade to me...

anyway thanks but i wont buy anthing for it just because i have no money and im saving up for a 360 so i wont even have to use my PC for games (hopefully before Biosock 2 comes out....)
