Some times it works for me and sometimes if doesnt, but does lowering the resolution on both my monitor and inside Bioshock really increase performance? I have set everything on the NVIDIA Control Panel to Performance mode or High Performance Monde and lowered the Resolution and raised the Refresh rate but the game is still slow.
P.S. If you are going to suggest to me to download the latest NVIDIA Drivers I have already downloaded every single different kind of Drivers (multiple times)

Depends. If you have a very beefy GPU but a slow-ish CPU, lower resolutions will decrease GPU load and slow you down. In this case, either go with your native resolution (if you have a TFT) or the highest one your monitor can display.
I suspect that's not the case though, and you're running it on a relatively underpowered system; in that case, yes, decreasing the resolution helps if you turn down other graphic options as well. It's a combination of the two that helps you achieve a nice framerate on older rigs C:

Thanks for that, but now i have a different problem. I was just playing it about 5 seconds ago when the game crashed. I think i saved it though(i better have kuz i had just beaten a Big Daddy) This happens frequently though adn I can only remember playing it twice without it crashing at some point.
Any more advice?
