Hi,
I just got Bioshock for my new PC (AMD dual core 2,5Ghz, 2GB ram, Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS, Windows XP SP2) and installed it without problems.
Now, the game starts normally and the menu is all okay, but when I change the Resolution or something, it just goes into windowed mode... Which I can't reverse. And if I turn it back to fullscreen via the Taskmanager, it crashes.
So if I just let the options as they are and start a new game, it starts loading normally, but when it's done (after bout 10 seconds), I get "This application had to be closed" or similar (my Windows is in German, so I don't know what it says in English...). Anyhow, it's the error thing where it wants you to "send this problem to microsoft".
I also already updated the Graphics card and the Mainboard.
So does anybody know any soloutions or encountered something similar?
