I have installed the game and when I click on the .exe files, nothing happens. I can see Bioshock in windows memory, but nothing.

I've tried installing the 1.1 patch but still the same problem.

Have also tried reinstalling from scratch but same problem again.

Running:

WinXp
GEFORCE 8800GTX
Latest Nvidia drivers

Please help!!!

ok, i figured out what the problem was. I had installed the Alky Directx 10 Project for Winxp. If i deleted nucleas.dll and dxgi.dll from the windows/system32 directory, the game starts fine.

However, I know encounter another problem. When I go to change the screen resolution in game, my game crashes back to the desktop. any ideas why this happens?

fixed the crashing also - just reinstalled the game and everything's working fine :)
