 Help, I have tried everything to get Bioshock to load, I changed my video card recently to a 8800GT from a X1950pro and now Bioshock freezes every time when loading a saved game and when starting a new one:mad: , I call up the task manager and it says with Bioshock, 'This program is not responding', I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit, Core 2 Duo 6600@2.40ghz, 2gb Geil DDR2, Inno3D 8800GT on a Asus P5KC Motherboard and updated all the drivers.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Please refer to my guide.

Make sure you uninstall old drivers before installing new ones. Install the updates for Vista as well.

Hi, thanks for the info, have tried the guide, but it still does the same thing, Bioshock worked fine before I replaced the X1950 Pro card with the 8800GT, I uninstalled the ATI drivers and installed the ones that came with the card which are the latest ones, I have Crysis and Gears of War working perfectly using DirectX 10. Also I cannot reinstall Bioshock as I no longer have internet access on my own computer, so I have to use library computers, is there any other way of installing Bioshock without going online?

Thanks

I'm not sure. I use Steam.
