Uh, this obviously isn't the most pressing problem out there that people are having but is this how the shaders on decals are supposed to look?

I thought so until a friend with a geforce 8xxx series card installed it and I noticed that it looked a lot better and a lot less "liney"... It looks better on the 360 version too.. I can supply more pics if necessary, but it is kinda hard to find a pic to compare it to seeing as how I can't really take screenshots on my 360. Anyone else's shaders have this odd look to them or is there something I can edit in a config file or something that changes it? By the way, all of my drivers are up to date. (I'm using the latest beta driver 169.25, and I've also tried all of the 163's too including 163.44... I also have the latest version of dx9... I'm running a 7950gx2 and haven't had any other issues that I can think of.

the 7 series is a little weak when it comes to shading. I'm sure corners are cut for speed.

BTW...I'm in the same boat as you until I get a new card.

**** you i have a oc 7900 go GTX with 512 vram and BioCrap runs flawlessly with no glitches like that.
Crysis runs flawflessly without a single glitch or crash: BioCrap is a piece of coding crap thats all

BioShock doesn't crash for me, and I have a 7800 GTX, but...if you'll notice the oil pills on the ground look somewhat pixelated as do other shiny objects on the 7800 series.

And as for Crysis, which runs like a slide show due to poor optimization of the Crytek 2 engine and very poor CPU utilization (around 30 to 40%), it is unplayable if you have a single core CPU such as a Pentium 4. Core 2 Duos and up is what you need to really enjoy the game.

And by the way, you're a very rude person.
