Please post this in the off topic thread as you have not mentioned a technical problem with Bioshock. If you have a problem with Bioshock please give details as to what exactly it is.

i am having an issue with bioshock which is the crash after the bioshock logo on my laptop, i am just having a hard time posting my specifications such as the type of windows i am running because i am not sure what they are.

Ok if you hold down the Windows key on the keyboard and type in DXDIAG and click ok. You should be able to veiw the system specs in the window that apears.

#Are you using the retail DVD version or the Steam version of the game?

Right click on the game shortcut and choose run - DX 9.

i do not have that option when i right click the game shortcut is there anywhere else i can go to choose this option?

Click Start and choose Games that should be listed on the left of the start menu. In here there should be a Bioshock file. Right click on here and there should be an option to do that.
