The problem i have is had bioshock loaded before and hardware upgrade, i had to reistall Vista Ultimate 64, got Bioshock to load in safe mode, but now i get this error:-

What is the error?

You may need to un-install and re-install Bioshock if you made significant changes to your system's hardware profile. I do not know what sort of effect this will have on your SecuROM activation limits - you'll need to contact 2K or SecuROM directly about that.

The Error reads "The Application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see application event log for more details." i hope this helps.

Try to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86). This package is located on Microsoft's site at:
