Hello all,

When putting the BioShock dvd in my ide dvd player, windows does not read it, it simply reads it as a blank(empty) regular CD, not a dvd. I have tried and read pretty much anything I can google on this problem. I've tried 3 different dvd players with all updated firmware. I've also tried wtih cd recording on or off, in which case the only difference is, when turned off, I get the error message "D:\ Not Accessible, Incorrect Function".

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'm not running any anti-virus or cd emulation software, extra processes or services related to either of those two things.

Thanks.

Have you tried exchanging the disc at the retailer or testing it on a separate machine?

It seems like it may be a problem with the disc itself if it happens across multiple drives and machines
