I believe it was taken away after posters edited posts directed at admins or something, and the admins ended up looking like fools/out of context, basically people we rewording what they had written which made the admins look like they were lying*


*this is a very hazy version and possibly completely incorrect but it's the vibe I picked up from various posts I've seen. I wasn't around at the time so I don't know for sure.

A member was harassing another member, and kept on editing his posts before a mod saw it, so the privilege was taken away.

If you want my opinion on the matter, forum signatures are very, very annoying. But that's just me.

Well thanks for clearing it up, I knew it was something along those lines (abuse of editing).

It's shame we all suffer for the actions of one or two people, if this forum had edit there wouldn't be so many 'additional' posts, but I've had worse problems to worry about I guess :)

Well, right now the speed of the forum is a lot slower, than it was two months ago.

Once people stop coming here just to rant about certain things, we'll probably get it back.

I'm guessing before Christmas. Probably in November. EDIT: If ever.

I agree about signatures.
Good lord, they exhaust my eyeballs.

I don't mind sigs b/c sometimes people just put their PC specs or whatever on it and thats cool. It just annoys me when people put pictures on it because that just takes up space.
