Mods getting heavy handed?

I just drop in hear time to time. Noted a recent 9800 card query was locked pretty damn fast?

Authors question answered. Post closed.Whilst I've no issue with mods making a call on abusive, profane, irrelevant, etc. posts I think its a step up again to be deciding that no more discussion is warranted / allowed. Not to mention it would seem to just be extra work for busy mods?

When an issue is resolved, its probably easier for the mods/staff to close a thread rather than keep it open and have to check back to babysit it.
