Looks good and the gameplay sounds challening survival without unlimited ammo, health, or supplies. Very big change from other survival games, but its a change for the better I think. The other one coming out for the PS3 looks good too, hope they eventually release on Xbox360.

I don't have the space for this. I see that cloud is available. What is Cloud?

0:20 people doing it behind a curtain? I think cloud is just server space that you have access to. Like an online external harddrive.

Yes, I noticed the pervy part. Thanks, I'll try the cloud.

To use cloud storage for your saved games, you need:

An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership

A console connected to Xbox LIVE

514 megabytes (MB) of storage space on your console (local cache)

bumah!

Looks like I'll be buying a 20gb switchable Hard Drive.

I've had pretty high hopes for this game for a while now. Sounds swell!

Curious if anyone picked this up yet and played it? Has gotten some pretty good and some pretty bad reviews - http://www.gamerankings.com/xbox360/950940-i-am-alive/index.html ('http://www.gamerankings.com/xbox360/950940-i-am-alive/index.html')

I haven't finished it yet, but I think reviewers are being too harsh. It can be frustrating in terms of the climbing aspect, but you have to learn how to manipulate the movements. In terms of story, however, there is something left to be said. But a 4 from IGN? Comparing this to Amy, which got a 2/10, is just silly. Amy was garbage in mechanics, story, presentation, EVERYTHING. This is just mechanically difficult to master, but the graphics and concepts are solid.

Figured it maybe one or two reviewer's frustration perhaps getting the best of them. Probably going to try the demo when I get a chance. Thanks for the feedback!

Gave the trial a go yesterday. It felt odd playing a non-horror game that implemented better survival mechanics than all modern "survival/horror" games combined.

I remember the 1st time I saw the trailer for this, I thought it was going to be a Disc-based game, not an Arcade game.

So I completely finished the game, and I still don't understand why people hated it. I thought it was great. The ending was a little disappointing, but the gameplay was great and very different. It was a very tense game, and it requires a bit of work in terms of planning. You have to be careful about what you choose to use and what you choose to give to survivors. But I really liked it.

^^^^ interesting take on it, sucks to hear about the ending. Looks like a game, I may try and play when some free time opens up.

I spent about 6 hours on one playthrough. For $15, that isn't bad. You also get a general rating at the end of the game in regards to your actions, so I don't know what the reviews mean by "your actions mean nothing" or "your actions have no impact on the game." I felt pretty guilty when I had to take food from someone to give to someone else.
