Alright, this is a thread for people who have read the Bioshock Novel by John Shirley and want to discuss it so there ARE GOING TO BE SPOILERS. Be warned.
Anyone who has not read it and does not want to know what happens, go back now.
Right, now that's the formalities over, go at it people.

Having just finished the book today I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Basically it seems that John Shirley has just cobbled together the contents of the audio diaries from the games and put them into novel format. There was very little original content. Is this lazy writing or is he doing the job he was contracted to do?
On a side note I didn't like the way the book was set out. The chapter format seemed redundant in light of the fact that every little section was marked out by the year.
