Anyone played C:LoS? Is it woth the sixty bucks?? The last one I played was SotN, which was completely amazing, but I'm afraid to shatter my hopes by hitting up any of the recently released games.

I think its def worth 60 bucks, really good gameplay, story, some great set pieces. Def a big suprise for the year and its is pretty long will some replayability to it to complete everything.

The review of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow were an 8.5 out of 10 in the Dec. issue #116 of OXM (Official Xbox Magazine).

The plus side is it's lengthy, challenging and plenty of replayable.

Another review of C:LoS were a 9 out of 10 in Gameinformer issue #211.

The plus side "it starts slow, but builds up with incredible boss battles, rewarding exploration, and an unforgettable conclusion"

Two pieces of dlc has been announced for Castlevania LOS. Really looking forward to where they take go with this, especially the one which takes place after the game.

So...I bought LoS when it came out...which was a mistake at the time. ACBro, Reach, and a myriad of other games took my time away and I'm just getting back into it.

I just got to Chapter 3...and the game is darn good. I mean really good. Looks great, battle is great. Story, so far is great. Bosses are awesome. The little puzzles are very cool and Patrick Stewart and Robert Carlyle are 10's!!!

2 small quick issues: Navigating sometimes is a bit funky. It's most definitely forgivable but when I have to collect these crystals, for instance...where they actually are is not in the "middle of the road" (which is fine)...but finding the "side of this metaphorical road" is darn tough sometimes and I get frustrated as hell.

It's darn tough to find all these magic gems that boost your powers. I'll beat a level and I feel horrible because over and over this thing keeps saying i'm missing gems....again, forgivable...but frustrating.

Note: The game does take a while, but I don't mind...just an FYI

As I said before, the game is great and I'm trying to beat it before the DLC's come out. Some of the art for it looks amazing....

* jayakers approves this message & Castlevania: LoS* ;)

Yeah its def worth playing, and you can always check a guide to find out what power ups you may have missed on the way and go back and easily pick them up while attempting one of the challenges. Has a good story imo, and an interesting ending to say the least.

Just played the first DLC, for Lords of Shadow. I think its worth playing, fills in some story of what happened at the end of the game. It also leads into the next DLC.
