Hi all. I'm playing PC version of Bioshock 2. I often find that hotkeys F1-F8 for Plasmids is a very inconvenient control interface for PC players. Often you'll need to change/swap Plasmids quickly during combat by moving the left hand from the WASD keypad to the F1-F8 keys switch and forth. Also, it seems that the order of the Plasmids in Bioshock 2 will changed once upgraded. For example, initially Electrobolt is on keypad F1 but once upgraded, it has been changed to F4.
I would suggest in Bioshock Infinite that they can implement a Quick Window interface showing all the Vigors/Plasmids the player has by pressing and holding the TAB key and players could select and click the Vigors/Plasmids they want. With this implemented swapping and changing Vigors and Plasmids can be done within 1 second without you moving your left hand away from the WASD keypad AND you don't have to MEMORIZE which key F1-F8 is tied with which Vigors/Plasmids!
By opening up the Quick Vigor interface window, i'll leave it to developer if they want to pause/unpause the game. Personally, i would prefer the game Unpause when the Quick Vigor window was brought up and player will still be getting damaged when getting fired.
Thanks for reading!
