What new tech would you like to see Infinite support? Come alive in 3D? Fight Columbia's denizens with Move or Kinect? Would it detract from the game?

I own an XBOX and I'm not quite sure how fluid the Kinect will be in terms of things like voice recognition and quick hand gestures, but it would be cool to change weapons or vigors with the hand gesture equivalent of a hot key, or calling out the desired weapon.
Things like subtle movements of the head to dodge or look around, Again, I dont really know the capabilities of the Kinect, but I think it could be a really streamlined way of going through inventory and things like that.

I think Kinect will prove to be a piece of trash. I have more faith in the Move, but I still don' think I'd like BioShock to use it. 3D on the other hand, if done correctly, can make the experience very awesome. 3D should ONLY be used to strengthen the experience and build the immersion. For a game like BioShock, immersion is a key part of experiencing the world. If 3D is a venture Irrational truly wants to take, then it should go well I think.

The only thing I'd like touchin' ma bioshock would be the 3d aspect, and even then, I feel, would be an unnecessary addition. The novelty would wear off pretty quick like. But hey, it would make for some pretty trippy visuals!

None.
Maybe its just me but at this point motion controls detract from games rather than being extra immersive. The few game's I've played on the Wii that haven't been party games feel more awkward than just using a conventional controller or a keyboard and mouse. Now at least PS3 Move looks like its going to cater more to its fan base rather than desperately steal the Wii's thunder, and I'm interested in what the sequel to Steel Battalion will be like with Kinect, but for now I think it is much better that Bioshock Infinite remain with regular controls.

3-D is a step in the right direction for gaming but its not going to be easy for this generation of gaming consoles considering it requires alot of hardware processing ( borderline double ) to keep the same resolution ( even 720p ) and the same visuals. 3-D will be awesome next gen but this gen they should probably stick to 2-D . Motion controls are also cool but for FPS's i personally like the classic controls but having the option is cool to . At CES back in jan i had the chance to play motorstorm on the PS3 in 3-D and it was jaw dropping and a gaming experience that everyone should try. I cant wait until JVC and Sony release theyre 3-D front projectors for my 110" screen.

How would Kinect even work? There is no way it can handle a game with such complex controls as Bioshock, or any FPS for that matter, with just a few hand gestures. I mean you can't even control player movement and action simultaneously, it would have to be on rails.
The Move on the other hand would be great. I'd love to see minor/secondary support for things like throwing plasmids or maybe launching a melee attack (while most commands remain mapped to the controllers). The cool thing about the Move is that it retains all of the PS3 buttons anyway, and looks comfy to hold, so you can basically play as normal but with added motion effects when you want.

I am not into the whole motion control system in general. It's fun sometimes with simpler games and I agree that BI could never work with motion control alone.
But how can the move be anything more than a upgraded wii-mote? It wouldn't work either.
When I say hand gestures, I mean you still play the entirety of the game with the controller and the kinect would work in the menus, and small little things throughout the game that dont really require a button. I know that alot of wii like throwaway games will be on the kinect, but I really think XBOX will try to push it as a periphery for their hardcore games. The potential is there and could really make things more intuitive if it works well.

I have a Xbox, and give it a thought about bioshock infinite being played with Kinect. I think it will be awesome to see something like that happen...

I'd love Move integration, but if it's done right, since I don't want them to get too distracted with the controller.
But I'm all for it.

I think I'd love to see Irational take on a project for the 3DS. Maybe a freedom force or swat title in 3D
