I might be seeing wrong but the American flag that they have throughout the trailer is the current 50 state flag. If this game takes place in 1912 they probably? want to use the correct flag if they are going to use it so much.
Did you see it?

That's a very nice catch. Hope they see that they made the mistake. Luckily, they have lots of time to fix the error, as it won't be released until 2012.

are you sure it was 50 stars? There was 48 in 1912 i believe. Maybe you miscounted?
Maybe not though... prerelease demos and teasers tend to have mistakes like this.

Are you talking about the one by the guy?
It looks like the 1908 with 46 stars. I couldn't see all the stars but how they are arranged looks different.

Yeah, the ones in the video right when he gets thrown out the window...I'll have to rewatch it. However, the 48 or 46 star flags would be very similar to the flags we see today, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to tell.

I'm just google searching here but the 46 and 48 both look different then the us flag today.
When the guy is playing the music it's a closer pic and it looks like the 46 star flag.

Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing it up. I forgot that there were closer flags to look at. Well, I'm glad they put in the era-appropriate flags.

it may not be a mistake! yes there werent 50 states back then but were there floating cities? no... so i think they know what their doing ;)

We've already cleared that up. We have found that the flags used in the trailer were, in fact, most likely flags from that era.
