What is Angelus??
Do will they make a gamefor him/her?

The Angelus is the opposite of The Darkness. As for whether or not there will a game just for her that's unlikely. We'll see more of in Darkness 3.

Taking the comic as a reference :

The angelus is the opposite of the darkness. Her origins are still unclear, except for the fact that she was there a the dawn of creation. Being the darkness natural opposite pole, she as a deep hate for it.

Now you might think that she is "good". Being the champion of light and all... And you would be wrong. Understand that the angelus cares only about one thing : to destroy the darkness permanently. If that means burning our world to ashes, she will. She has no regards for humans that she defines as "Flawed" beings. Which isprobably why she prefers to gain complete controle over it's host rather than granting it some freewill as the darkness does.

And this is actually the Angelus greatest weakness : her hosts. Jackie isn't blinded by hate as the angelus is. (Note that in the comic, the angelus never chooses Jenny as a host. That's only in the video game). Despite the fact that the angelus and the darkness are equal in strenght, Jackie will usually outsmart her by taking advantage of her lust for victory.

In the comic, she appears several times. While Jackie manages to kill her host, she can't ever trully be killed. She can find a new host and come back as much as she wants to. Unlike the darkness, the dosn't follow the rule of a legacy with the child manifesting it's powers at 21. She is forced to use a female host however.

It is important to note that the darkness and angelus made peace several hundreds years ago, and made love at that time. Angelus gave birth to the "witchblade". The witchblade is the manifestation of the balance between light and darkness. In this trinity, the Witchblade is the only "good" entity.

Similarties with the darkness are :

- Needs a host to manifest in the real world
- Can create creatures of light (equivalent of the daklings)
- Her powers depends on light and dark
- She can create weapons at will
-They can both create a human being. It takes a 100 years to make the body, and 100 to make the soul. The Angelus used this to create her lover, who was eventually killed by the darkness.

Differences :

- her hosts have no control. (Exception of her last host "dani" but i won't get into that)
- her powers remain in the darkness while jackie a no powers in the light. In the dark, Angelus switches to batterie mode. She can use her powers, but the more she uses them the weaker she gets. She can fight equaly at the beginning, but if the battle lasts for too long, she eventully runs out of powers and collapse.
- She dosn't need to breed to find a new host. When a host dies, she switches to an other at will.
-She won't die if she has sex.

But that's the comic version. The game version is rather different, as Jenny is the angelus (which is not the case in the comic). This will actually make things REALLY difficult for Jackie as in the comic he didn't care about the hosts. And killing the host is as far as i know, the only way to get the angelus to retreat for some time.

While the angelus as it's own comic book series, i doubt that we will see a dedicated video game on her. Main reason being that the angelus dosn't get her own version of jackie untill much later in the comic (Dani that i mentionned above). And her existence being so tighly linked to the witchblade and Darkness series, i think that we will have to wait for the comics and futur video games to give more material on her before we can hope for that to happen.

What is very possible however, is a Wichtblade video game.

But we certainly see more of the Angelus in the Darkness II. Despite having followed all the comics, i have honestly no idea how Jackie will fight her without killing Jenny again in the process.
