So I'm the only one in my civilization. And my civilization is the only one in my world. This became most obvious when "Dowry" came up a couple days ago. There is nobody else, so there is nobody to marry. Anyone else in that situation?

As to your post. Given the number of 'Does time stop' posts showing up recently, I think there are a lot of Small games out thiere. You are the first to comment on being the 'Only' :)

I'm in a couple of 'empties'... 16 in one, 11 in the other... but it's great for knocking out achievements and civbuck farming... You all notice how many of these 'empties' around now? That daily average user value keeps dropping and dropping... but yeah, dowries suck when there's maybe 10 people playing once a day and you are your own personal civ...

It's a Bucking Ghost Town out there...

except for the part you have to be online refreshing every 10 mins to keep the game moving

I have been in a small game for two days. Small be be be too nice. It started with three of us, and then they left a day later. It's just me. No era wins yet. I haven't even gotten one tech yet. And time does stop. I've been through three contests so far. This morning, seven hours ago, the contest of camelot started, it's an hour in. Kind of boring.

Actually, you still can work the market. Great people and commodities prices fluctuate on their own. Resources don't change without player action though- so food, production, science, and culture, those will stay the same unless you buy / sell.

Time stops. Nobody to marry. Win lots of awards, for all the good that does. Science is mega slow. At first I could manipulate the market, but it caught on.

Time stops even if you are not alone, but the other player(s) don't log in. I am in a game with only one other player. When I started, he 'Played 2 hours ago', but I doubt that because when I returned to the game next morning, that time was still the same. I also didn't get any harvests overnight. I sympathize with the posters above who are alone - at least, I can marry someone :) ... in the game, that is.

Achievement Games... next one will be for the 24 pop, almost done with the constr medal one... done almost all now... only 1000 fame and 10 culture medals and 24 pop remains..

Right there with you Lulu. I have 4 achievements left. 1k, 10 pop, 24 pop city, and 10 culture. Still not sure why I dont have the culture one, I would have figured that one would be a lot easier to get.

It is hard for me because I am stingy with GP's ("no you cannot have my scientists for a useless wonder!") but I think next Tiny game I'm playing its food and culture all the way..., then another for the military/1k fame... and then, well then we'll see if the game still exists...

I just did the wonders one in a 1 player civ and constantly built wonder events. Twas fun lol

Of course the opportunity is gon now. But the games I played with Yoda had the potential to pop the 10 culture medal in the span of 1 hour and one battle...

It doesn't last. After a couple days my Civ of one was joined by 20 or so, and then I could see a bunch of other civs as well. I should have bought more GP. They're al five times as expensive now.

Just have a talk to Random user. I picked up 12 culture medals in last night's battle (10 secret weapon attempts, one himeji castle steal, one wonder era pop)

Great people... not just for newbs. ;)
