I'm playing my first game right now and this game is going rather slowly. I founded my own civ and had some active players in it. So we overwhelmed the bigger "Zerg-Civs" quite fast.
Today there are only a few era's to go and many people have gone inactive.
I decided to quit my civ and joined a 1-man-Civ. I kicked out that inactive person via Civic and closed the borders.
What im doing now for 2 days is: building the Golden Age Wonder again and again and again.
I accumulated quite some gold before (300k~). But now with "Golden Age Spam" its just plain stupid.
Right now i have more than 1,1million gold.
Since im alone in my civ i just need 2 great persons for that wonder. The price for these great persons skyrocketed to more than 75k each due to my shopping tour. But im still making profit...
Anyone else noticed that this wonder is extremly powerful?
