I really hope it's not the same guys that blew the CitiesXL MMO launch. That one crashed and burned pretty fast.

Nothing to do with Cities XL, XL games are currently making a game call Archeage, which I and the rest of our guild are eagerly looking forward to, the company is Korean and they or the CEO created the Lineage series.

Yes the Archeage MMO looks well on it's way. And they certainly can't do worse than the train wreck that Civ5 MP is. I do have a concern about their ability to mesh the strengths of an MMO with the strategic depth of a TBS game, and not to mention the classic "just on more turn" syndrome that is iconic of the Civ franchise.

I can't be the only one that cringes everytime I hear about a new Civ project when Civ 5 is so woefully broken.

well, noone is buying civ5 DLC anymore and Civ world is crap and they aint working on multiplayer in Civ5 so might aswell start a new project to flog the brand in some way

When I first saw the topic and link to Archeage site I was little bit confused. What has this game to do with MMORPG.

Well, can't say I'm too excited about the idea but I'm not against it. Time will tell what will come out of this.
