Bioshock Novel Official Cover Art World Premiere!

After speaking to the author, I am pleased to share a first look at the Bioshock novel's official cover art with the community. I am glad that they chose the beautiful "1959" piece as the basis for the cover. It looks awesome and from what I understand, the July 19th release date is set in stone. I am definitely pumped! This should be an outstanding read. I thank Mr. Shirley for allowing me to share this with you all.

You never cease to amaze with your ability to inform, Kyburz. I agree with you in that I'm glad they chose the 1959 picture for the cover. I feel like it sets the tone well for the story. This is Rapture at it's finest. The only direction it can go is down.

Finally! Things just got real with the novel. I/we have been waiting for this for what seems like forever. I like the art on the book. I really wish they created new images, and not recycled old ones, but I'm just happy it's finally coming out!

Love it, love it, LOVE IT. I'm a total fanatic for 1959, it was the best piece done in the Bioshock 2 artist series (even though I love "The Sisters" too. It's just different) 1959 is, as has been said, perfect for the book given that it is the time period that the book appears to be taking place in.

Cover looks nice, I hope the book won't be disappointing. Like Assassin's Creed or Alan Wake books. It seems it's hard to pull off a high-quality book based on a game.
