Why is it that there are countless mods with endless changes, additions of units/buildings, tweaks, gameplay changes, ai balancing, and on and on an on, yet a whole team of "professional" firaxis devs cant offer up even a percentage of what one of these modders can produce in these last few months since release. Are the devs trainee programmers or do they work 2 hours a week ? Seriously !! Whats the story with the epicly slow pace of advancements for this game ? Mabye firaxis would do well in hiring some of these genius modders who are motivated enough to actually give a ☺☺☺☺ about civ5 and try to FIX it. How many months worth of pages does 2kgreg and the rest of them have to see before some of this stuff makes its way into the dev department. Personally im giving civ5 one more patch, and it would want to be a decent one or civ is officially ended for me.

You want to know whats wrong ?? OK.

I could post 50 pages of links, but whats the point, most of you are well aware of the many issues with this game, even more so than any of the devs at firaxis.

Seeing images like this http://ocau.com/pix/qf54t and having seen it first hand leads me to believe that civ5 is doomed to fail no matter how many patches it gets. It was the first thing i thought when i seen the live stream with 2k greg before release. Whos bright idea was it to spread the stacks of doom over the whole map. I was under the impression that 1upt would equal less units which equals more processing power for the game which equals bigger maps, more civs and more depth. And what about multiplayer (something i was really looking foward to) at best its the worst online experience ive ever had in a game i mean ive never seen anything like it, for a start where are the players ?????? I find it hard to believe there is only 10 people online at any givin time. 2k, firaxis and Jon chauffeur should be ashamed, this is the epitome of bad business practice, if it isnt ready dont release it. And on that note, why is that one modder in their spare time can produce MUCH more advance's and improvements to the game than a whole team of over paid professional devs ????

did somebody wake up on the wrong side of bed today? Joking aside, I agree, the pace and detail of which they work is amusing to say the least. Modders win hands down, 20 second KO in the 1st round.

I agree, i really dont think they have more than a couple of interns working on civ (fixes) full time. Itīs unbelieavable, people working on their free time actually do more than firaxis itself.
