Ok, here is my system specs:

Pentium(r) D CPU 2.8Ghz
4 Gig Ram
Nvidia 9800GT video
Windows XP w/Service pack 3
SoundBlaster X_Fi Sound card

ACPI Multi Processor PC

Now I know im in the minimum specs area, but every time I crash at the same turn area of the game. Its getting quite frustrating. I waited til this patch in hopes it would correct some of my crash issues, but alas it didnt. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can correct this? I have all the graphics set to minimum, Ive tried with vsynch both on and off. It always on large or huge maps, and always seems to happen when the game is trying to move to another unit 1/2 way accross the map screen.

Mind you, im not complaining about the game, because while i can play it, its fun. I just want to be able to finish a game.

You shouldn't expect to play marathon huge maps on a minimum spec computer. Try normal speed on a standard map, I bet you'll get to finish then. :)

Are you running in DX9?

You can't run the DX10/11 in WinXP, can you?

You are correct! I only looked at the GPU; forgot to check the OS.

Grayhorse, are you experiencing the crash on the same exact turn every time you load and try again? Or is it more random than that?

It starts at between turn 700 to 750, and then consistently continues to happen. I am only using dx9 since im in xp. After the first time it happens, then it continues to happen approximately every 5 to 6 turns after that. Is it because of my low gpu that its happening? Nothing I can do?
